The
Playa de Vega camping is situated in the
council of Ribadesella 8 km far from the asturian
village of Ribadesella strategically placed at the
mouth of the Sella River, famous for its international
rafting competition, for its cave painting discovered
by “Tito Bustillo”, and also this village
is where Prince Felipe and Princess Leticia spend
some of their vacations, for those who like to travel
this is an open door to discover the seaside villages
os Asturias. Two soft sand beaches make a sweeter
site of the abrupt riosellan littoral (Vega beach
and Santa Marina Beach). The Vega beach is a natural
beach that has no constructions at it sides and also
has 2 km of white and soft sand, it is only 400m far
from the camping.

Over the same coast line from
Vega beach to the Arra´s stone you can contemplate
the Jurassic chalky walls that still conserve abundant
dinosaurs fossil prints that inhabited this place
one hundred and fifty years ago, that’s why
the camping of Vega beach is located only 20km far
from the MUJA (Asturian Jurassic Museum) famous for
ist dinosaurs skeleton replicas. The geology offers
us great shows of cliffs that breaks the one green-colour
sight of the coast and the peaks that races in the
council.
Due to its proximity to the Sueve mountains you will
be able to enjoy of one natural with wild fauna and
exceptional sights that counts with the presence of
Asturcones (asturian Horses used by the romans because
of its great resistance)
You must not miss the excursion to the Fito´s
viewpoints and the visit to Covadonga, to preromanic
of Oviedo, Gijón, Santander, etc…
